GutsyGeek speaks at WDS in front of 3000 people
Today’s post is a short one: it’s a video. Watch as the GutsyGeek speaks at WDS 2013, in front of 3000 attendees, about how I completed my book that teaches geeks to meet girls. I posted the video on Facebook for my followers last week, but I figured I’d best post it here too, just in case you missed it.
If you’re curious about what I look and sound like in the real world, then you should definitely check it out.
Funny story: I thought I had 3 minutes to talk, and rehearsed it for that long, only to to be told about an hour before going onstage that I only had 2 minutes.
I panicked, and spent the next hour rewriting my speech in my mind, timing myself and rehearsing it over and over again. A short while later I talked to the crowd. Although I was a bit nervous, and spoke very quickly at a certain point, I’m proud of my speech, and I hope you enjoy the terrible jokes I made as much as the crowd does.

I was in the crowd as Rami rocked the heck out of the first of his many-to-come two minutes of fame. I have a feeling the frequency of your prominent moments is soon to increase, bud!
